I would choose my S&W 642 because it is usually the gun I always have with me. It conceals like a dream and I find it to be a very accurate, and most of all reliable, shooter.

Well I currently only own one handgun, and its a sig 229. I have owned Glock G19, Taurus Melinium pro .45cal and a 38spl in titanium, Ruger GP100 and Vacaro 44mag , and S&W airweight 38spl. All are/were great. I would carry any of them. Excpt the Taurus 45 due to it being unreliable, it broke the fireing pin twice. The 44mag was just a fun gun I would not carry it unless I had to. The single action would be a killer in a real life gun fight. Any of the others I would carry in a heartbeat. But back to your question if I had to own one. I would have to say a Glock, Sig, or a GP100. As these have been my favorite guns that I have fired in the past few years.

My EDC is a Glock 23 in .40...but i would have to say a Glock 17 or 19. Universally rugged and the 9mm ammo is a world standard and would always be easier to find.

Sig P228 without a doubt. The heft, the balance, ergonomics, capacity, accuracy. Can't find any fault with it.

HK USP Compact .40. Because I want something a little bit bigger than my P2000SK if I can only have one gun.

If either a Colt Combat Commander or a SIG P220 fell from the sky I would be absolutely equally happy with whichever one of the two landed on my lap.

I'll say my Glock 32 .357. I went with it because I figure it would be my only gun for a while, so it should be a good balance of shootability and concealability, plus I just love the .357 SIG round.

CZ75. My EDC. Long enough sight radius to be really accurate, yet still concealable for me, 16+1 capacity, indestructible durability, and ergonomics that are damn near perfect.

My EDC is my Kimber Ultra CDP and I have a second Kimber, a Compact CDP...both are fantastic weapons.
    But...
If I could only have ONE gun, it might just be my Harley gun, a Glock-36. It is sooooooooooo easy to carry and conceal. It disappears when tucked into my kidney, it's accurate and it's dependability is without question.
    Mr. Kimber,

    Wait a minute...
, this was only if I could have just ONE gun...so, the Kimber Brothers are still my EDC.

I have guns made by Kahr, Kimber, and Sig Sauer. If I could only have one of them then the Kahr and Kimber would have to go. The Sig has been flawless, and it just feels like part of me when I carry it.
