Your favorite ccw piece.
Most of us, it seems, have the blessing of more than one carry piece. I like the idea of having a few pieces as backup. One has kind of come to the forefront lately for me. I carry a Sig P245, a HK P2000, and my new SW 386, in 357. My grab-every-day lately has been my HK P2000 SK. They really out-glocked Glock on this one. It is polymer, very smooth trigger, and has a hammer. I prefer a hammer. It is the LEM model, trigger fires like a single action after every shot, with a DA capability for misfires. It will not fire in DA mode on the first shot. Racking the slide cocks the hammer, then, the hammer will return to the slide, but still is cocked. A very light trigger pull is required to fire the pistol. Clear as mud? Anyhow, here is a photo. What is your current favorite?

My all time favorite is my S&W 1911SC... but as long as it's a Commander sized 1911, I'm good!

Right now my favorite is my M&P 340, but I am breaking in a Kahr P9. If I can get it reliable it might take over.

So far in 34 years of CC, my favorite, and best CCW is the HK P2000sk.
Also very high on my list are the Beretta 84, Sig P232 and Seecamp LWS32.
I feel good with any of these fine examples of quality firearms.

I couldn't agree more. I've been carrying for 25 years. The HK and the J-frame are just tops with me. I have started carrying mine with the 9 round magazine, and keeping the 12 round magazine in my pocket. Best -

Semiauto and revolver
This is a hard question for me because I am changeable and like variety, both semiautos and revolvers. But at the moment I'd say my favorite semiauto is a Sig P239 in 9mm, and my favorite revolver is a S&W model 66 snubby (.357 magnum). Both are very reliable and pretty easy to conceal, and I can shoot them well.

Either a Sig 232 or a Firestorm .380
