Hate to be the one who says it, but use that search button, there is more info than you can read in a hour bout the kimbers on here.

I've never had the slightest bit of trouble with my Kimber CDP Compact.

Everytime I pull the trigger I get a satisfying BANG!

My Ultra CDP II has been 100% reliable since shot 1. It's one of my favorites.

No problems with my Kimber Combat Carry which is a Series 1 compact that was discontinued and reintroduced (with minor changes) as the Compact CDP I and then II.

Never ANY trouble with my Ultra Carry II. Like the energizer bunny...just keeps going. My love affair with this gun keeps growing, and my other's are getting more and more shelf time.

My Ultra CDP that I bought last year has given me fits with extraction. After trying several different mags I determined it was the gun.

The extraction would randomly fail (not always on the same round in the same mag) and leave the spent casing halfway in the chamber still. The search feature (already mentioned) will likely turn up reports of the same issue from other folks. For a time, there was a run of Kimber's 3" models which all had this issue.

Unfortunately I've not had the chance to get mine shipped back to the factory to have the issue resolved. Need to do that shortly.
