Something you don't see every day, and with Ivory grips.

I have carried my Kel Tec P32 BUG for years. No matter what primary I choose on any given day, I always have my Kel Tec in my weak side back pocket. It's been through a lot as some of you may remember:
    http://www.defensivecarry.com/vbulle...port-pics.html

Now at the range where I work, we have a lot of rental guns. A P32 with the Ivory colored grip ended up in there and I got to thinking. For those of you not familiar with the design, the polymer part is not serial numbered and so not a firearm. It is interchangeable just like switching the grips on a revolver. So, fo no other reason than it's not all that common, I switched out my black grips for the Ivory.

In this pic you can sort of see my custom sparkly purple acrylic front sight.

    Comments welcome as always.

Looks cool! A nice touch for a summer wardrobe.

Would you recommend this model of Kel-Tec (P32) now as a reliable BUG? What SD and range ammo has proved to be the most consistently reliable with this?

Nice FG P32, now you just need to dye that grip a cool tangerine of grape color.

That is sweet looking Superhouse! A small pocket gun sure comes in handy when it is 80 degrees plus outside. That is the first ivory polymer frame P32 that I have ever seen.
    God bless our troops!

    Bameroni:
I have Cor Bon in the gun and a spare magazine, although I rarely carry a spare when it's a BUG. On those rare occasions when I do carry it as primary, I carry an extra mag or two. Most of my extra magazines are ful of PMC JHP, I happen to have a lot of that. Like most of my pistols, I have a dozen or more spare magazines and I've fired them all. I only had bad luck with an aftermarket mag with a +1 floorplate. I got rid of both. FWIW, the Flyer Wires won't work with the +1.

I'm not particular about range ammo, whatever we have in stock. I have a stockpile of Magtech FMJ just in case. It was in stock when I wanted to buy some stockpile ammo. There are assorted Silvertips, Gold Dots, and XTPs in the ammo can, too. I got some of the 25 round boxes of XTPs for SHTF ammo, but I could never get one to expand in anything I shot it into. I wouldn't carry the XTP if I had a choice.

It did go back to KT once, many years ago and before I was comfortable working on them. I broke a slide stop spring. Now I know better and could fix that in 5 minutes but in the old days we were afraid to look inside them. ( thank goodness for them internets ) For further reading on the accuracy and reliability of the gun, Click that link in the first post. Good pictures there, too.

Have a black P-3AT myself. Never seen the ivory color before. Don't know that I would buy one, but I'll admit I kinda like it. Certainly different. Also enjoyed your mistake reports - haven't seen those before!
