    My first Glock...26!

Ya'll are such a bad influence.

Hasn't even been two weeks since I bought my Colt Commander and already I've filled another hole and desire in my collection...this time in the subcompact 9mm category...

I haven't gotten serious with the picture taking yet, but here's what I have so far. I know, a Glock is a Glock, but I still love seeing gun pics when browsing through these threads and I don't think I'm the only one.

It fits very nicely even in my big hands, and the trigger is nice, smooth, and light.

I plan to make this my alternate summer carry gun, between this and my S&W 637. The S&W does seem better to carry, in that it is lighter and smaller (only slightly though) but the Glock holds more rounds and is probably easier to control and more fun to shoot.

I had a choice between the G26 and the G27 and it was a hard choice...but I wound up with the G26 because I already have a gun in .40 and a carbine in ammo sharing wasn't an issue...and I have a feeling that I'm going to want to shoot the snot out of this gun at the range and I'd like to do it cheaply. Plus, with good 9mm hollowpoint ammunition I don't think I'll feel undergunned in the slightest...

So I have a 1911 and a Glock...and I love them both! I guess I'm just one of those weirdos who doesn't want to pick a favorite.

    More pics later.
An intruder will be incapacitated by tear gas or oven spray, but if shot with a .357 Magnum will get angry and kill you.

Congrats, and welcome to the G26 club!

Now, get yourself the laser of your choice and look into the Tru-Glo TFO sights!
The number of people killed because they didn't have "enough gun" is dwarfed by those who had none at all.

Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

I love my's a holster I recommend, the Milt Sparks "Watch Six". It's thin (no reinforced mouth) and not too expensive at $77.

    Very nice pick.
Add on some Trij night sights and Pearce Mag Extensions (no extra rounds)...just a place to put the little wife loves 'em.

    (Thanks, highvoltage.)
