Tru Glo TFOs. Bright in the daylight and at night. I have them on all my Glocks, and have installed several sets for customers without any returns.

I voted "other" because I LOVE the Siglite Night Sights I have on my P239. But the next gun won't come with any...and in that case, I'll most likely buy meprolight or trijicon.

    Trijicons are my preference.

I have Meps on my Kimbers, and I put Trijs on my Glocks.
Side by side, I prefer Trijicons.

Meprolights actually. IMO, they are a little less money, bigger and brighter.

I've got other night sights on some guns but I voted XS Big Dot. To me, on a carry gun, they are faster to aquire than the others. Simply dot the I, with the big dot covering the area where the bullet goes.

My Glock 36 has the factory Mepro's while my Springer has Trijicons. I also have access to a Tomcat .32 w/ Big dot sights. My favorite is the Mepro's due to their size, as they are slightly larger. On a smaller "point & click" hand gun the Big dots are nice due to the ease of locating your front sight.

I'll second getting Tru Glo nights sights. They glow at night & work well during daylight hours as well. My G26 has a set of these. It's money well spent!

Nights sights never really impressed me much so I don't waste the money on them. I bought a used Glock that had Tru Glo TFO sights on it and they were just fine. It's all personal preference as they are all good night sights.

Personally I would invest in a couple of good flashlights. Ever look through your sights while using a flashlight in low light? The stock sights stick out like a sore thumb.

Actually as I get older, an XS big dot on the front seems appealing. Don't see a need for a rear night sight.

I voted for the TruGlo's. They're on my G27 and work really well.

Those Meprolight sights are nice too, and cost about $30- less than the TruGlo's.
I've been thinking about opting for those to replace the factory sights on my G23.

Thanks for the input guys and gals. Keep it coming! I think ive got it narrowed down to 3. Big dot, TFO's, or the trijicon. The trijicon seem like an old proven stanard. The TFO are really bright day or night. Although i have read a few posts about them breaking etc. The big dots seem like a great choice for a self-defense gun. Which this gun is. Quick site aligment etc. Im not worried about driving tacks at 100 yrds. I havent read anywhere about how bright or easy to see they are in low light. As before keep the suggestions coming.

Today I received a trijicon front sight for my 642-P and it's really impressive. A small upgrade that won't mean much in a panic shoot out, although for target training and range use, it's a clear improvement.
