Differences between Taurus Millennium Pro 145 and 745

I'm considering the Taurus Millennium Pro 145 and 745, and have been trying to nail down all the differences. Taurus provides minimal information in their specs.

It's my understanding that the 745 has a narrower grip. Does anyone know the actual measurements?

It's also my understanding that the slide on the 745 is 1/8 inch narrower than the slide on the 745. Can anyone confirm that?

Is it true that the 745 is DAO, and that only the 145 has restrike capability?

The 745 is missing a light rail.

The 145 accepts 10 cartridges, while the 745 only accepts 6.

The 145 is 3 ounces heavier than the 745.

Is there anything else I should be aware of?

    Thanks.

You pretty much answered your own question. But I am not sure about the restrike capability. Don't use that as a factor when buying a gun.

Also look at the 24/7 Pro C series. I carry a 45 cal and it it pretty nice. 10 or 12 rounds of 45 in a compact design.

I agree with Armydad. I had a P12-45 that became the "jamomatic". Tried the 24/7 compact pro DS and fell in love. It never jams, it's small, it's light. Shoots low, but I've learned to adjust.
