I saw one at my gun shop in Florida, LOVED the trigger in comparison to my LCP...BUT for $600....I just cannot make up my mind.....almost thought about selling my LCP in the $400 range and pony-ing up the xtr $200, but thoughts why, so I am in the middle.....PLUS I have a PM9 and although I like it a lot, it has had some quirky issues and my LCP has been FLAWLESS....so that is what is driving me now...if it were a $100 or $75 difference I would try it.

I thought the same as you, and just decided to keep my LCP. If I were to spend that much on a Kahr it would be either a 9mm or even a .40 caliber model.

Well that was just it....forget about the "extra" to spend or whatever but if I was to spend in the $600 range....well, that opens up the playing field to not just need guns, but to "want" guns......and for that amount, i could by the AR upper I have been putting off!!!!

The Kahr P380 looks like a really nice pistol. It's got a better trigger pull, sights, etc.. than my LCP but it's still just a .380. I agree with the posts above, for the money I will keep my LCP which has been completely reliable.

I've been eye-balling those suckers, but the local gun shop has not had their hands on one as of yet.

How does the size compare to the PM9? Seems like it would have to be just as wide, but it looks a little shorter.

Go to this thread, there's some pics on both pages I took and posted doing this compare.

I would wait at least a year to ensure they get the bugs out, especially being a small pistol. Smaller pistols have tighter tolerances, and tend to be more "buggy" than their larger cousins.

Ignore my advice at your own peril! (sorry, I've been trying to find a reason to use that one!)

I have one, compared to a kel-tec, there is no comparison. I have ran 150 rounds of blazer (all I could get) through it, 3 problems. Accuracy exceeded what I was expecting.

When I run another 100 through it, will post.
