I waited a year but finally ditched my Seecamps in favor of the LCR. I find it very handy to have, especially with the laser attachment. This, and a pocket holster to put it in (made to accommodate the laser) is a perfect hot-weather setup.

As far as shooting the pistol, it is about what you expect. Appropriately accurate and so far very reliable with ball ammunition, which is all I use.

A good product and highly recommended for minimal ccw.

Seecamps? Ball ammunition in a revolver?

Did you perhaps answer about an LCP when the OP asked about the LCR?

    Apologies if I'm wrong.

He is asking about the LCR, I think you are talking about the LCP ;)
I have heard favorable things about the new revolver.
I am looking forward to getting one myself.

Rumors of hot gasses etching a hole and blasting back in shooters faces after 200 rounds. I haven't read through this thread, but I believe this is a thread talking about it. RugerForum.com :: View topic - LCR Troubles

I know its slightly off subject but I have a Taurus model 85 Ultra Lite. It has a two finger grip like the LCR does. I do understand I am not the strongest guy in the world I find myself about average, and the problem I had with the two finger revolvers is shooting +p ammo out of them is not fun at all. It made it very hard for me to hold onto the small revolver. I bought a hogue 3 fingered grip for it to solve the problem. I don't know whether or not this is going to concern you but it will give you something to think about, because I don't think anyone at this time makes after market grips for it.

I have heard good things about the LCR but I would personally wait a year or so to make sure they have the bugs worked out.....because a Smith 642 or 442 "right now" will give you zero problems and has a ton of history to support that.

Does anyone know what the trigger pull is (lbs) in the LCR. I'm considering one as well.

I don't know the trigger weight but the trigger on my LCR is as good as my Colt Python.
