    So I bought a LCP...(pics)

I ran into a deal I couldn't refuse on a new LCP earlier this week and today took an 85 mile run to Ownesboro Kentucky to pick it up. Hadn't ever really thought about one for myself but with summer here it sometimes is a little tricky to pack a 1911, Glock, or even my little S&W 642 (dressed out in Esmeralda's finest) so a little pocket piece seemed so right. To sum it up, I'm a happy with the purchase. Not as snappy as I thought it would be (I usually shoot a 45). The trigger pull is looong. I figure this is a good thing for a little double action pocket gun. Once I got the hang of it it's pretty doggone accurate. I ordered a wallet type holster from JM Bullard that should be here tomorrow. Anyway here's some pics.

I had to be stingy with my ammo (limit 1 box per) but decided before I quit for the day to really try with the last 4. I hung up a new sheet and paced off 21 feet (this is a "belly gun"!)

It's not a pistol I will be shooting a lot, maybe a couple of mags a month, but I think it will see a lot of carry. Even as a primary on occation.

A little dab of liquid paper on the front sight makes a lot of difference. Enjoy it! You will find that it'd just sooo HANDY!

I always put a dab of orange "sight paint" on my Glocks but hadn't thought of it on this one. Thanks!

    Nice!

I picked mine up yesterday for the same reasons that you purchased one - I'm quite happy with it so far.

They are so small to carry, it is by far my summer carry choice.

They are pretty accurate for the size, I have one and I'm very happy with it.

While I prefer a .45, there is atime and place for a small pocket gun. Regardless 6 rounds out of a .380 is deffinitely better than a sharp stick.
