    My next gun.......................

My next handgun purchase will be: a new Ruger LCR. After finishing numerous articles(and watching YouTube videos of people shooting it)I decided this will be my next weapon. My wife says"no more guns.. you have enough", but that will change. Currently own NO revolvers and would like a dedicated BUG and REAL hot weather carry piece. I am "old school" and like steel-framed revolvers, but all I read is how well and EASY this lightweight shoots. Maybe it's time for a change. Now just wish me luck in convincing the wife sooner rather than later!!

make sure to get the laser with it from the factory, or else you'll always be wanting it.

My wife got one with the laser for $670 ($640 + shipping) on GunBroker.

    Nice choice!
And don't worry about the wife, my wife has been saying that for years.

My wife is now "helping" me save for the LCR..which is fine with me. I'll appreciate it MORE when I put the cash together over a few months. just figured I'd give you guys the favorable update!

I just got my LCR on Friday and plan on hitting the range on Wednesday to give it a full workout.

I love snubbies, and everything I've heard about this new LCR is good!

Keep us updated...especially with that first range report.

Hope to get a LCR by New Year's ... Jewish New Year that is, in September -- can't wait for the "other" one.

And thanks Jimmy of the Big Red One for the VA website tip.

Newbie to the Forum here, but getting lots of good info and making lots of new friends.

Got to feel a LCR two days ago at my local gun store. Very light weight, and felt nice. Had the CT Lasergrips on it...but...my local store wanted $800 for it! They're a bit insane on the price, but if you can get it at a reasonable price, I'm sure it would be a very nice BUG.
The more good folks carry guns, the fewer shots the crazies can get off.
