LCP or Micro DE
Got a chance to get a New Ruger from the store in the AM, whereas they were previously unavailable and have not heard a negative complaint aside from having to send back for recall..
Also, someone is selling a Micro DE i really like and want to get but I can get this new LCP (my reason for looking for something other than LCP was because of the waiting lists, unavailable, etc..) so i am kind of torn as to which piece to settle on.
I really am torn so i turn to you for help making the decision. If I am gonna go expensive, I wanna get the DE, if i wanna spend in moderation i wanted to get the LCP. please help..
Thanks DC!

Spec make the DE a little heavier, it is a carry piece, once broke in probably not shot much, carried often. I'd go with the LCP and pocket the difference towards another gun that is carriable and shootable (XD, Glock, 1911, Sig etc...) just my .02 cents, in this economy its only worth about half a cent... (you may need the money for ammo (if you can find any) unless you have 380)

For dedicated pocket carry, I'd go with the Ruger LCP or the Keltec P3AT. the weight and size being the factor. Plus the LCP has the cost advantage.

I picked the LCP over the NNA .380. After a couple hundred rounds down range with no problems, I'm satisfied it'll do it's job. Can't beat the size and weight for deep cover.

I've had the LCP in my back pocket for 2 days in a holster from Bullard. Feels like I just have another wallet in my pocket. Love it. The LCP is a pocket gun, cut and dry. No IWB, no OWB. The doggone thing is near perfect for what it is. Of course, that's JMO.

The Eagle is fun but the Kel-Tec and LCP are more practical in weight and bulk.

+1. The eagle feels quite heavy compared to P3AT or LCP.

personally, I would take the MDE over the LCP/P3AT from a quality standpoint, just based on the user reports I have read. I prefer a SD gun with sturdier internals, and I can only imagine that the MDE has heavier built springs and trigger mechanism. I carried a P3AT (no difference internally than the LCP) for 4 years and was considering the MDE as a replacement. The weight factor really doesn't bother me when it makes only a few ounces, but even without the gun I carry almost 4 pounds of assorted stuff in my pockets and on my belt anyway. Starting out "fresh", I would probably take a really good hard look at the MDE (if I could find one)

I had a Guardian for a while. I highly recommend a mouse gun that weighs less than 1000 lbs, which is what the steel gun will feel like.
