    New Kahr PM9

Well I have completed a 250 round break in and could not be more pleased.

    150 rounds CCI FMJ
100 rounds assorted JHP: Federal, Impact, and Hornady

    NO FTF,FTE, or anything else.

Trigger got better as I shot it more. I ONLY fired this gun strong hand and 50% of the shots would have been in the 9ring at 25 feet. The others were usually low and left a personal trait of mine. I am sure with more practice the hits will be better.

As a pocket gun I am very happy. Dependable 9mm ammo much less than .380 and hopefully soon more available or it's off to Dillion for some more dyes. Only slightly larger than most .380's and equal to many as well as an improvement in capacity and concealability over a J Frame.

My EDC will remain HK or Sig but this is a great option.

The PM9 is a great little pistol. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

I got my PM9 about three weeks ago and I`ve never been happier with a handgun purchase. I`m at the 500 round mark with no problems regardless of the type of bullet or brand. Great deep concealment pistol. I think we did good !!

Congrats on the new gun! I just picked up a Kahr CW40, my range report was a little less positive than yours, but hey...I'm sure Kahr will take care of it.

Just put another 150 rounds through mine on Friday (four different brands of ammo) with no problems. Up to about 600 rounds total. Not a single failure. Goes in my front pocket every day. Congrats.

Had my Kahr a couple of months. Mine has had some hiccups, and is currently at Kahr right now. They've been most cooperative so far. I'll keep everyone posted, but I hear there customer service is top notch.

I posted a range report about a week ago on my PM9 that I have had for a bout 5 years but didnt shoot for quite some time, it ran flawlessly. Congrats on your new addition. They are fine guns and perfect for pocket carry AND the ammo is so much more readily available and cheaper.

Congratulations on the new PM9. I've had mine for a little over two years and it is flawless in its performance.

I am happy to read all of the good reports on the Kahr PM9. I am saving furiously for one as I think it would make a dandy "always with you" gun.
    God bless our troops!

Always glad to hear good reports of quality firearms. I've been admiring Kahr's for a while now, especially the MK-9 and PM-9.

    Thanks for sharing your experience!

I have a PM9 that is up for sale. That said, I'd ask for all your help in running this test, to see if it is a design issue, or an issue with my specific 2 PM9s:

Safely - load the chamber with a JHP, and insert a full mag. Then, rack the slide to eject the round in the chamber, like you would do if the round was a dud. Will the PM9 chamber the next round as it should?

Both my PM9s would not - the chambered round would eject, but the next round would jam nose-down into the feed ramp. Same result no matter what ammo I tried.

I would appreciate it if some of you with "no issues" with your PM9s would run this test (again, safely). Thanks!

If it does jam, the solution suggested to me by Kahr is to smack upwards on the bottom of the mag, to "nudge" the jammed round up the feed ramp.

Really? No one has run the test yet? All your positive experiences are making me think I maybe should keep my PM9 as a BUG, but I kinda want to know if I'm really unlucky, or if this is a design trait of the PM9.
