New G23 - Just noticed something.
I recently (within the past 4-6 weeks) purchased a G23, and have put about 100 rounds through it. Shoots fine, and cleans easy, but I recently noticed that there is a small "gap" (I can see daylight) between the action (upper) and the grip frame (lower), running horizontally. Is this something to be concerned about, or is it "normal"? Very small "gap", but I wanted to make sure this is ok. Tried GlockTalk, to get an answer, but am having trouble posting there. Thanks in advance.

I noticed this on my G19 also, I can see what I think is the top round in the magazine. Mine also has worked flawlessly on the 125 rounds of Remington UMC and 15 rounds of Remington Golden Sabre that I've run through it, would run lots more IF I COULD FIND ANY AMMO TO BUY.

Forget GlockTalk....just stick around here. Holding your Glock up either side facing you against a backdrop of light or a window, you should see daylight in three places from a profile view between the slide (upper), and the frame (lower) horizontally. Have fun and be safe with your new G23, and by all means.....Glock on!

It is not a way to check the chamber,You cannot tell if you have a round chambered that way,you can tell if there are rounds in the magazine. The way to tell if there is a round in the chamber,Is #1 treat every gun as if it is loaded, but on the glocks on the extractor if there is a round in the chamber the extractor will sit out from the side of the slide a little bit and you can feel and see the ridge

It helps ventilate the gases when they blow up.....

Oh you are evil.
I have a Glock, and may even buy another one or two next year, but thay are not what I like to carry. I can carry them, and they will get the job done, I just prefer something else.
