I traded one of my XD9sc's and a Bersa .380 for a NightHawg .45 ACP about a week ago. As soon as I did it I had "buyer's remorse." BUT, after shooting it and carrying it, I love it. It's shorter in height than the xd9, same length, and 2 oz. LIGHTER......all in a .45 caliber! 10+1 (13 rnd mag on the way to me) ain't too shabby a load, either.
So many guns, so little time...
Hopefully, your new 'dance partner' will be around a long time.

Congratulations. I had the exact same gun. Sold it simply because I didn't carry it but it was a great shooter. If you experience any feed problems, put some Wolff springs in the magazines. They'll lower the mag capacity to 9 but they solved the only problem I ever had with mine.

This is a gun in which I have been interested. However, hear some bad stories about Para from time to time but this is, after all, the inernet where bad stories abound.
Sure would like you to shoot the gun for awhile and then post a review of your experiences with it. That would sure be informative to me and a lot of others. Looking forward to seeing the results.

Congrats on the new one
After thinking for about 1 sec I think that was a great trade!
I just picked up a new Para GI Expert 1911 and took it out yesterday for a 400 round break-in...good times!
I think I am really going to love it - bet you will too!
