It is better to have your gun and not need it, than to need it and not have it!

The only malfunction (if that's what you wanna call it) with my Glocks have been when I let a friend shoot and they are limp wristing. This only occurs on the subcompact models though. Other than that, no problems whatsoever. I voted never. I have about 3000 rounds total in mine.

    I voted 3+...

    Pistol: G27

Two FTF within the first few hundred rounds (plus one FTF when I let my mother fire it - However, she limp-wristed it, so that one does not count).

Also within the first 500 or so rds., I broke the collar on the dual recoil spring assembly, which I would characterize as a catastrophic failure (gun would not fire after that, as it had no pressure forcing it back into battery).

So there's my 3.... Ironically enough, that's 3 more "malfunctions" w/ the Glock than I've ever experienced with my 3 other carry pieces -combined- That's not a knock against Glocks... I still respect them as reliable tools - And I relaize that my experience is not very typical... I wouldn't hesitate to buy & carry another Glock - if other, more ergonomic options were taken away from me, that is...

    Regards,
