Slide not staying open
I'm loving my Kel-Tec P11!!! put close to 400 rounds through it since I got it (maybe a couple months ago).
Today the slide began to not stay back w/ the last round.
Another guy shooting w/ me who has more gun knowledge than I was checking it out. He felt inside the open slide, next to the slide release, & said he was not feeling a "lip" that should be there. He thinks it may have worn down or broke off.
Any thoughts? Thanks.

The slide is held open on the last round by the magazine follower pushing up a lip on the slide catch/release lever. It's possible that it may have broke off,my P11 has the lip right behind the feed ramp on the left side looking towards the feed ramp,if you can't see it then it has worn or broke off

It could also be a faulty magazine or you may simply need a new magazine spring.

Do you have a second magazine? Try that and see what happens. If the problem goes away, then you know it's a bad magazine...............

I believe that's exactly what the guy I was shooting was describing, pointing out that the mag follower has a piece that pushes the slide catch up on the last round.

If that's it, would it be replaceable by a non-gunsmith, or should I send it back to Kel-Tec & just carry something else until I get it back?
On extra mags, yep, I have a total of 6...

I'm sure we tried at least 2 or 3 different mags after noticing the slide closing, so it wasn't the mags.
