Does My Wallet Make Me Look Fat? It shouldn't because Obama is taking all my money.
I carry the G26 when ever I can. When I have to go lighter I carry a Kel tec Pf9. I'm not sure you woudn't be better off with something like a SW J frame. They are more reliable than the PF9, IMO. Come to think of it, why don't they make 642 size 9mm?
Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything
For pocket and ankle carry I like a gun that is more forgiving of debris and "crud".
Thus I favor a revolver for that duty. I'd rather have "five for sure" than ten maybe.

LCP and extra mags. Some higher dollar ones out there for sure i.e. Seecamp, NNA, but mine goes bang when I want it to and is as accurate as it needs to be for a pocket pistol.

My LCP is small enough to go with me everywhere, everyday in complete comfort. Plus a spare magazine fits in my cell phone case.
My Detonics Pocket 9mm for the past 20+ years. No hicups.
I have 3....LCP, PM9 and wifes 642...the easiest and lightest is the LCP BUT I do like the 9MM cartridge better so I go with that too......I think you would be hard pressed to find something slimmer or lighter than a LCP or equivalent (keltec P32, or P380 or the new Kahr 380).....with my UncleMikes (formally Blackhawk) pocket holster made to also fit a xtra mag.....I feel well armed with the combo.

KT P32 for me, would go to a 9mm if there was one a little smaller, PF9 does not fit in my pocket...
