    Depending on the pants, a Ruger SP101 or SIG P229 SAS. Yes, you read that right, SIG P229 SAS, the one with the "melt" job done to the slide, and with a bobbed hammer. But then, I don't use pocket carry for general carry, just for taking out the trash, or perhaps to walk the dog around the block.

    If I wanted to make a habit of pocket carry, I would use one of the several J-frames about the house, with preference given to the Centennial models, with the concealed hammers. A Seecamp LWS-32 could back up the J.

    Luger LCP for me... in a Desantis Nemesis until this afternoon... and now in a Sideguard Holster's Roughout.

    If your G26 won't fit in a pocket (mine does in a large Nemesis pocket holster for around the house and in the yard errands) then how about a clip-on IWB holster, like a Desantis Pro Stealth? Cheaper than getting a new gun!

    I just happen to have a used one for sale on the Marketplace forum...just sayin'...

    I've tried KelTec 380s, Ruger LCPs and a Micro Desert Eagle . They all failed at critical times. Now, it is a S&W 642 in a Smart Carry holster during warmer weather and a G26 or G19 in cooler weather. None of these guns have EVER failed to go 'bang' when I pull the trigger. I can work out the rest of it ... ammo, draw, reloads, accuracy ... but if it doesn't function with total reliability, nothing else matters, does it?

    The Holster that I use is a Desantis Nemesis pocket holster. I've carried the G26 in Dockers, Cargo pants, and even my suit pants.
    The gun is a bit large, but works fine. The Nemesis holster breaks up the outline, so while there's a little bulge, it doesn't loom like a gun. I've only been made once, and that was a friend of mine that I worked with, who knows that I have a CCW, and one evening leaving work, just happened to notice a bulge, and then reached over to pat it and then said "Don't worry, I won't say anything, it makes me feel safer". No one else has ever picked up on the fact that I had a gun.

    I have 3 "Drop in the Pocket" guns.

    Ruger SP-101 with a couple of speed strip reloads;

    Ruger LCP with two spare mags;

    Depending on which trousers I wear, I can pocket carry my XD9sc.

    All of them wear a scabbard when carrying in pocket. Mostly the DeSantis Nemesis. I have a couple different kinds for the SP-101.
