Had a dream about a 1911 last night....does that mean I need to buy one?

Had a dream about a Kimber. Told the wife about it but she didn't really say anything. Problem is we just got back from a cruise where I dumped $2,000 on toys. Maybe get rid of my 76 Marlin 336 in a trade for one. I've never shot one or SEEN one in person!

How should I approach this, any advise would be great!!

Maybe I should handle one first. I kick myself in the butt because recently someone one this forum was selling 2 or 3 in the Tampa area. I had just paid for the cruise tickets, but now in hind-sight I should have contacted him/her.

At times I dream about the 1911 I had to sell some years ago to take care of financial obligations. I miss that handgun something bad sometimes!

Dreaming of a nice (new) 1911 is pretty common around here, even if you've already got a few. With all due respect to Marlin 336 shooters, I've never had a single lever-action dream.

Sometimes dreams are an indicator of things to come. Maybe sometime, somewhere in the future you will need a .45. Play it safe and buy one.....now!
