In my truck is my "usual" truck gun, GP 100 with 18 rounds of 158 HP, hidden in the center console.
Otherwise than that, while I'm at work I carry a pick-headed axe and a 36" haligan tool and my SOG Flash II. If that doesn't work I'll use the 1 3/4 line off the truck with 120 lbs of pressure.
When I get off duty, I have either my taurus 24/7 45 or my Kel-tec P11 9mm. Soon it will be a Rock Island Arms tactical 3.5"
Apparently it is "bad" for a FF/paramedic to carry a handgun while running calls and transporting people to the ER. The Chief believes that I just may waste a round or 2 on some ******* "woodpecker" who calls us because he's drunk, has some sort of abdominal ailment and is calling with belly pain. DUUUUUUHHHHH!!
Some people are alive simply because it's illegal to kill them.
