    My new Kimber

    Greetings all:

I went to a gun show in Fort Worth today with my father and one of my brothers-in-law. Dad was looking for a decent wheel gun, and John was just along for the ride. After looking over everything, my dad wound up with a Bersa .380 he picked up for $199. There was another one there for $165 used, but dad figured he'd spend the extra bucks and go new.

I already knew what I was looking for (several things, actually) and it didn't take long to locate it AND be satisfied with the price. I walked out the door with a Kimber Ultra II. I almost waited too long to buy it though. From the time I first saw it.. shopped some more.. and came back because it was the lowest priced Ultra Carry II in the place ~ there was only one left! Whew!

    $639

I may just have to go the the range tomorrow

Oh.. and keep in mind that I am NOT a professional picture taker.

You will enjoy them little Kimbers for CC. They just seem to hug you no matter what holster you have it in (except Fobus).

I have the Ultra CDP II and love it. Can't figure why someone would want to carry a 14 shot .45 with two extra mags when they could carry one of these.

I've never felt "not ready" toten' my little Kimber. --------

Very nice CCW piece you got there! I'd like to pick something up like that down the road a piece. I have to get myself into a 45 at some point... :)

Perhaps they suffer from relentless premonitions involving protracted CQB.???
