I can see why. Even when compacts were available, IIRC, they weren't that compact and were relatively heavy.

I've got a 9000s on the way, as well as a Mini-Cougar G. I'm probably going to wind up with the 9000s, but I'll be giving the Cougar a try.

EDIT: I forgot that I'm also going to have a Model 20 (a DA 950 Jetfire, might be DA/SA) as well. I've got two Jetfire's that I could carry, but one's too purdy and the other is SA only with no safety... and that's no good for carry.

I have a Beretta 92FS that I carry in the winter months win it's easy to conceal. I like it vary much but have always been concerned about the somewhat small caliber.
So before the winter comes again I'm going to the Colt Commander 1911 45.
    Sorry.

Nothing to be sorry about I don't think. You need to be confident and comfortable with your handgun. Some will be with 9mm, some won't be.

Pickup a .25 auto Jetfire model 950B in 1981. It has been one of the best BUG that I could have asked for. It has gone on many U/C deals with me. Now it has been replaced by a Kel-Tec .380. But this weekend I got it back out and used it all week on the job. Never had a problem with it. It is a good shooter that I have trusted my life with for many years. They don’t make them any more. I think their .25 autos are now double action not single action like the old Jetfire. Even my wife likes the gun.
