I just got my new PM45 went to the range 250 rounds 2 failure to feed in the first 30 or40 then clean all the way. I found it to be dead on very happy with the sights.
I got home and cleaned it I noticed a place in the BBL. like trash that didnt come out aprx 1.5 inch from the end of bbl I rerand the brush still there ,took q tip reached in . I think it feels and looks like something in the machine shop went in bbl. backwards and scraped the inside like cutting then stoped. that caused a light mark down to that spot which is like metal piled up then stop and came back out.But very smooth it wont hang a cotton q tip you just see it like trash stuck all rest of bbl shinny and good.
I cant belive it shoots dead on ,I guess the bullets smoothed it out. I will call Tuesday to Kahr .
If you're happy with the way it shoots, it might be a non issue. On the other hand I can understand you wanting a new gun to be in pristine condition. If they want you to send it back, see if they'll accept the barrel alone, since it's not a performance issue. It will save you a fortune in shipping.
