Who here has a P6/P225 in their carry rotation?

I am thinking about getting a P6 to add to my carry rotation (love the single stack 9mm) but have heard the early versions have a problem feeding hollow points reliably.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Has anyone modified their feed ramps or magazines for hollow points?

I have a P6 that runs flawless but wouldn't eat hollowpoints when I first got it,they hit the botto0m of the feed ramp,my dremel and me after several attempts to remove just enough without changing ramp angle solved the problem, then I polished it up real good,I don't carry it as I have no holster for it and several other guns, but I would have no problem carrying it,It shoots great and runs flawless with everything now

I have a problem carrying a gun that could be 30 years old. I've thought about getting one, but if I can't feel comfortable carrying it; I don't need it.

Eh, the 1911 and Hi Power designs are older, and I've met plenty of people who carried old ones of each. If it's well-maintained and taken reasonable care of, it should last pretty darn near forever.

If you do find a P6, the post-1989 ones have a modified feed ramp that lets them feed hollow points more reliably.
