I just wanted to give you guys the heads up on this promotion. Sig is offering $100 rebate for current or retired LEO on select models. This may just make my next purchase decision easier. :yup:
I can verify that the rebate really works for retired military. I took them up on that a few months ago on a P229 and got my check about 5 or 6 weeks later. Now I'm waiting on a $50 rebate on a P239. Don't know for sure if a second rebate will be approved, but, worst case, I wasted $0.42 postage. Also, on the copy of your retired ID, it IS ok to block-out part of your SSN. I called them and asked about that and they said no problem.
Actually, this is nothing new SIG has been running the program for the last couple of years. Be sure and check what is covered, and for how much.
