    Speaking of knives.
I have a Syderco Police model that I want to carry,
Anyone know about the law concerning blade length
    in WA and IDAHO?

If I carried it in a folding knife sheath, would it be legal then?

Nice setup, and the Beltman Belts are the highest quality belts made period IMO. Add a quality blade and you are really set.

    Very nice set up!

For a large number of States ASP batons and other clubs are illegal for civilian carry. I think the major reason is that most people do not have proper training with them and tend to employ them as a deadly weapon when they thought they were using it as a less then lethal thus committing assault with a deadly weapon.

Even if it's legal to carry in your State, I always caution people to obtain proper training which provides some sort of certification if you want to avoid becoming a victim of "unintended consequences."

Fair enough. The recent thread about using a blackjack to lay out a Dad who was picking up his daughter is a great example of how such a tool can be misapplied. I think I'll skip the baton but change my Surefire G2 to a E2D defender. I already have a Spyderco Delica on order. I also need to get a lawyer lined up in case I ever need to use a weapon for SD.

I also need a rig for when I'm out running. Sometimes I go out on 10-mile runs in pretty isolated places and I have no SD tools on me when I'm on a run (loose aggressive dogs are biggest, but not only, concern).

Nice set up! That's a great looking 1911 and Beltman gun belts are the best. I just got my 1.5" double horsehide impression belt a few weeks ago and I couldn't be happier.

    Spare mag and pouch? Knife?

Do you carry your Surefire in the V26 or the velcro holster?
