All guns can KB for one reason or another. Glocks are fine. Seems like most of the problem is with 40 cal. Industry pressure standards are the same for 9 mm and 40 cal. Part of the KB could be related to the number of 40 cal used for duty guns. Part is due to reloading and a not a fully supported case. Accurate arms has came out said not to use AA 5 in any 40 cal, maybe that was issue. Seems like there was something about 165 Hydro Shocks also.I am not a Glock nut, I own a Golck 40 cal and it does not make me nervous to shoot it.

Really it's the KB right after an ND that you need to worry about with Glocks!

The only gun I've had blow up on me was a Ruger Blackhawk. Never a problem with my Glocks.

I have three Glocks, G30, G23 and a G27. I have never had an out of battery discharge with any of them, or any other problem for that matter.

Or maybe not. No one has been able to prove or disprove all KBs. The case has obviously been subjected to to much pressure. Could have been ammo, could have been gun.

To me it's a open and shut case. Look at the brass, it's in the exact spot for the unsupported barrel of a stock Glock. It's just my opinion, but every one I've seen clearly shows the brass gave way in the same area and reloads were being used at the time of the Kaboom. That plus, the G23 that I have owned and operated for well over ten years and thousands of factory rounds has never had a problem.... For me the Kaboom is a none event, and one of my Glocks will always be my go to for "when the poop hits the fan" pistols.
