Colored Dots on Ruger Semi Autos

Anybody know what these colored dots you see on the Ruger semi-autos [next to the safety / decocker] are for? I've seen blue, white, orange, yellow and green.

I will guess...since it is actually a part that goes through the body under the safety or decocker, it may be color coded for the particular model pistol.
The one on my P95 is white...regular safety
Other colors may denote decocker, P89, P94, etc.
Still a guess but maybe a semi educated one without doing the research.

Yeah, I am looking for a P95 and there are multiple colors. I'm wondering if it means something about year made.

OK, went to the Rugerforum. The dots are stickers used for quality control. Each color represents a different inspector.
If I were you, get one with a white dot. I have had zero issues with mine.
