    First auto for carry

I have been carrying an SP101 and a J-frame 38+p for years. Picked up a Xd40SC and put 250 rounds through it today. What a sweet shooting piece. I also have a Bladetech UCH and this thing dissapears with my normal jeans and a t-shirt, comfy too. I am HOOKED!!

Congrats on your new 'find'. It's interesting how we move through our favorite firearms...sometimes it takes years, sometimes a few months.
It's the journey that makes it intersting.

Welcome to the world of semis. I own a few revolvers and love them as much as anyone but if you can rack a slide semi auto is the way to go IMO. More firepower. Case closed.

Excellent choice IMHO. My EDC is an XD .45 Service. In 50 years of handling firearms, it's the one I like the best.

Autoloaders rock, got yourself a good one there. Enjoy the higher capacity.

I got 20-bucks that you'll return to a snubbie. It's simply the law of the land...
