Can someone share with me the Smallest 1911 in the world. I don't care what caliber it is (provided at least 9mm) just want to know which model is the absolute smallest overall.
Yeah, but it's NOT a 1911, the internal parts are way different and the grip safety is absent, while they appear similar, they are mechanically different.
I believe the smallest 1911 is the Springfield EMP in 9mm unless something has changed. The Springfield Micro is a pretty small .45 though there are lots of small .45s.
No, it's not a 1911, it's not even based on a 1911, it only looks similar. It's loosely based on the Colt Government 380, which was a copy of the old Star DK.
Nope, that's about standard 3" 1911 size, the only reason it's shorter in OAL is that the grip safety is bobbed.
