    STI Shadow 3.0 1911

Here are a few photos of a new STI Shadow 1911.

Accuracy? Not bad at all. At 7 yards and firing reasonably quickly, I was able to put 7rds into under 2" several times, including this one ... 1-5/16". And it's still being broken in.

    Plans include:
    • Radius and reshaping of the bottom corner of the mainspring housing, so that it won't dig into the palm of my hand.
    • Refinish at Robar, with a full exterior treatment of Roguard and a full interior treatment of NP3Plus.

Here is a picture showing the normal MSH on the frame. It's a typical "sharp" MSH corner. I am looking for a gunsmith who is experienced with doing this sort of job on Officer's sized frames (ideally in forged aluminum). I'd like to radius and reshape that bottom corner so that it doesn't bite into the palm of the hand so much.

With the reshaped MSH and a Robar refinishing, I think that this pistol will be a winner.

how can we ever compete with pistolwretch?

What we really need is a rogers precision picture page. I could look at that all day.
If I gave a crap about what you think about my guns.....it was early this morning and I already flushed it!
