I'd love to post some of my 1911's, but my camera has gone to the dogs. With that, I now own 27 different 1911's. Some high end Wilson's. ($5,023) And other 1911's Rock Islands. ($486) They all have there + & -'s I enjoy shooting my Wilson's at the gun club and the guys all marvel at it but most can not see paying the price. I for one just wanted to own a Wilson Combat firearm. As I look back now, I wish I would not have paid the price as I could have had many other firearms to my collection. Now I can't sell, it as most people do not want to spend that much money. I also understand I could not get what I have into the gun. Enough of my chatter about my issues. What I wanted to say is that, the 1911 is by far the greatest handgun ever made. With all of the different handguns that have been made, not one will ever stand next to the 1911. Oh maybe, stand behind, but not next too. Thanks John Browning for the greatest handgun "ever"

Thanks, I think I'm about done picking up 1911s unless I come across the right deal on a Springfield Pro or have Colt build me a special, Special Combat Carry.
