    Para USA GI expert .45

My first 1911 clone, and the first solid steel pistol I've ever owned. Yep, I've been a "Tupperware" junkie for 13 years now.
My father keeps telling me he wants to buy it, I'm thinking that after I get enough to get another 1911, I may give this one to him as an early fathers day gift.
Those Paras are good pistols all the way around. Even their entry/beginner models are very good.

After viewing all of the above beautiful photographs, I'm chomping at the bit for the gun show in Akron this Saturday.

    S&W 1911 Sc Commander.

Scandium frame -- very light. I had it Bobtailed and a new trigger put in it. Grips are Aluma-Grip Slim Tactical. Carried it with Chip McCormick 8-round flush mags.

    Colt New Agent.

I added an Ed Brown Extended Thumb Safety and the CT Laser Grips.

Like the modifications on both of those, very functional.
