    Need Advice on MA to NYS Handgun Purchase

    I have agreed to purchase a firearm from an individual who lives in the state in of Massachussets. I live in NY. Obviously it will be an FFL to FFL transfer to comply with state and federal law. I have purchased used firearms from another state but it was from an FFL DIRECTLY. Here I am purchasing a handgun from a private individual that requires an FFL to perform the transfer.

    What is the optimum method to make sure I receive the firearm after I send the funds? Your input is greatly appreciated!
