I have shot one and they are good reliable pistols that are very thin and light for an all metal gun. The rubber grips are nice but they are too grippy for my taste for carry purposes IMHO with a cover garment.

You cant go wrong with a 3rd generation S&W pistol... I have several and they are the most reliable guns I own outside of revolvers.

Do you make holsters for these pistols? Any pics if you do? Thanks for your feedback.

I have their CS45. Very very good shooter. Heavy compared to the plastic's but not bad for all metal. Recoil not bad - probably due to the all metal.

I carry a Walther PPS 9mm for EDC and the CS9 weighs 2 ounces lees than the PPS. I only carry 9mm in my handguns as it is consistent with my "consolidation of calibers" mandate I put on myself over a year ago. The only calibers in my collection are .22, 9mm, 22-250 and 12 gauge.

I have a CS9 and other than being a 1/2" shorter in the barrel , I use the same holsters as my 3913NL and 6906. I really like the way it conceals and shoots.

My good friends wife, has one and I have shot it on multiple occasions. It is generally a very good shooter. Feels nice in the hand.

    Thumbs up

That model is talked about frequently on the S&W forum. I've read nothing negative. I handled a new one and had the price been lower, I would have bought it. I really like the 3rd generation smith auto's. My CC carry is the 3913 (see avatar) which is a little bigger than the CS9. I believe you can purchase aftermarket plastic grips if the rubber create a problem under your clothing for concealment.

Does anyone know the dimensions of the CS9 (height, length & width)? I'm wondering if I can pocket carry it.
