A 1911 is perfect for small hands. A lot of people overlook it because overall its BIG. A single stack mag and the fact that the magwell and grips are compact in design make it great for small hand, especially with a GI style short trigger.

The full size 1911 is good for small hands, but the EMP is even better. Scaled down for the shorter rounds and then fits the small hands even better.

look at the EMP and the Taurus 709 and the PPS and again if you have the $$ the HK P7 even the slightly larger Taurus PT Millennium series that comes in 9/40/45 is great for smaller hands.

agree the PT millennium 9mm fits small hands well, as I am sure the others do too.

I have small hands and carry full sized Springfield 1911 every day, with a good belt I hardly notice it's there. I wouldn't want to sacrifice the power to go to something less

...and you can put on thinner grips to decrease grip size even more.
