Was thinking of trying to get my Custom Defender in a magazine.
Any suggestions/connections?

Contact some writers and publishers. Gunblast would be a good option.

I like Combat Handguns alot. I just wonder if they would just laugh?
I mean I don't know if it is "magazine worthy?"
It's one of a kind and very original. Made with only the best parts and craftmanship from a local shop here in CT.
I think it would make a good article and photo spread.
I'm sure I can get the gunsmith to interview to add to the article etc.
Great guys over at Jojo's!

Tell them you are a major manufacturer and slip them some money?
Bend the knees, smooth is fast, watch the front sight.
Try Concealed Carry. They're one of us. I had an article in there and was on the cover awhile ago (looking quite hot, I might add).

Freedom of speech does not excuse one from freedom of thought.
Start off with a real good picture of it and shop that around. Have any photographer friends?
I sent some info to Kathy Jackson at her request (very cool, thanks Kathy)
It would be exciting to see it happen. It would also feel great to help the small shop that did all the work get some recognition. They are the best guys to work with, certainly in my area! Just good people ya know?
I will keep you all posted. I do need to get some professional pics taken. After all I do carry it and would like to preserve that "NEW" look!
I have not heard back from Kathy.
I have a few more calls out.
Anyone got any any connections
ED,
Check your email... it's not a great fit for Concealed Carry, but I had a few suggestions.

Treat me good, I'll treat you better. Treat me bad, I'll treat you worse.
Send them your story. It's called "Over the transom" in the publishing business. People just threw their stories over the top of the doors (the transom).
What do you have to lose? Be aggressive.
I have to wonder why a magazine would want to feature your handgun?
It would just basically turn into an advertisement for the shop that modified your Defender.
Why would a magazine want to do that for free?
