just because there ugly doesn't mean there crap. A lot of people have kel-tec pistols myself included and there very reliable. With a comment liek that you have probably never even held a kel-tec.
Vermont does not issue Permit/Licenses to Carry a Concealed firearm. Vermont allows anyone
who can legally own a firearm to carry it concealed without a permit of any kind.

People are actually voting that some of the finest production guns made are "poor quality"? I have to admit I'm losing some confidence here.....

On that list, I can see situations where I'd consider something from any of them. The ones not listed but mentioned here, or similar, (Bryco Arms/Jennings Firearms/Jimenez Arms/Raven/Phoenix) are on my list of not touching.

Hi point? Got a carbine, and if times were tight, I'd consider a pistol. Rossi? I'd try to stay away from their larger caliber revolvers (might be just me), but some of their other products would be worth considering.

Wow Have to say I'm a little surprised with the poll,I didn't think Kel-Tec had that bad a reputation, now I know! I was considering getting one for a backup, don't think that's happening now.............

Don't make a decision simply based on this survey. Take a look at the pistol you're interested in and read some other posts about what owners think. When I first looked at keltec I though, well I've seen better. But, once I fired the PF9 I was impressed with the guns quality and reliability at a very reasonable price. There's lots more to consider when purchasing a gun than the results of a survey. And, that applies not only to keltec but any gun listed.

Of the larger manufacturers, Taurus is by far the lowest in quality.

I didn't see any manufacturer on the poll list that I'd refuse to but ANY gun from. Some of those on the list have SOME models I wouldn't consider.

You need to get some new friends or advisers to listen too! The ones you have now are giving you bad advice.

Even though they are leading the poll, I'll defend KelTec every time.

They might not have a shiny finish or a gold plated option and they might have some machining marks left, but their designs are solid. I'd much rather have a KelTec over a lot of other 'low end' brands.
