I cannot talk about all their firearms, because the MK9 Elite is the first Kahr pistol I ever have owned, but mine has been totally reliable after the break-in period. You are right, it was not low-priced, but it was worth the money.
Like you say “All of those listed brand names are either excellent or good enough guns.” Actually, I consider many of them to be high-end arms. Perhaps that list is not totally right after all.

Out of your list, I've only had bad luck with Kel-Tec, but haven't used or owned guns by all you have listed.
SIG, HK, and Beretta are very high quality firearms and don't even belong on the list in the first place, IMO.

I voted Magnum Research for the G4 they managed to obtain from BUL

As sound a rationale as most displayed here.I voted for every option just to be a jerk.
Interesting...52 people voted Rossi... and I bet not 10 percent have even shot much less owned a Rossi. Other than some minor entertainment value polls like this are worthless and meaningless. But, thats the internet for you, lots of talk but little value. Lets make it a rule on this forum that you cannot comment on issues you have no direct personal experience with........my sodium content is getting way too high from all the grains of salt I have to take to digest some of the comments here.
When I leave the home port:
S&W 642 Airweight, Ruger SP 101, Colt Detective Spec., CZ RAMI, Kahr PM9, Kahr CW40, S&W Model 10-7, Glock 30, 19, and 26, Browning Hi Power, CZ82, Colt Commander, Dan Wesson PM7, Ruger LCP
pretty common in any thread like this....even if youve only owned one and it was a lemon it doesnt necessarily reflect on the manufacturers norm....you can find countless examples of every manufacturer having problem guns and some issues we just deal with because they are inherent in the design of particular models...but someone always has to prove ther expertise by playing down someone elses pride and joy...
human nature combined with internet foolishness...
I wouldn't buy a S&W semi-auto had too many problems with a 5904 it went back to the factory 3 times for FTE problems . I broke 3 ejectors in less than a year all factory repairs and I wasn't shooting hot rounds. I do still own multiple S&W revolvers and love them. The 5904 is long gone, I now carry Glock no FTF's no FTE's so far knock on polymer. I watched a Rossi .357 blow up at the range with .38 factory target rounds, so I wouldn't buy one of those , but some of there long guns are o.k.

I think I read somewhere that Taurus now owns Rossi.

Kahr PM9, and a few others.....
The only gun I've ever owned that I couldn't get to work right was a Llama. It was a 1911 style in 9mm. Couldn't get through a box of ammo without it jamming. I was given to me so I hold on to it for sentimental value.
