Kimber BP ten
I seen on Kimbers website that they make a 13 round mag for this gun. That would give me 14 total rounds. I have three 10 rounders now, came with the gun. Does anyone have this gun with the 13 round mags. does it fit flush? I like the gun and don't mind the double stack grip as I have big hands. I like the gun for IDPA and occassional carry in the colder months.
any thoughts would be helpful.

Hopefully someone can come along and give ya for sure answer but i bet they will fit pretty flush most double stack 45's do and fit 12-14

They stick out about 1/4", the basepad is pretty thick.

I don't think the mags are much bigger, I believe that 10 round mags were b/c of the ban.

dingle good point. I forgot about the ban. That puts a whole new light on this situation. they are probably the same size, with the ten rounder blocked for only 10 instead of 13.
If I buy the 13's,I will only be one short of the XD45, for a lot less money.

Actually you'll be level with the XD-45, it holds 13+1 too.
