The masochist in me kinda wants to shoot a .357 LCR, considering the most painful firearm Ive ever shot was a Grendel .380, which was worse then a over factory load S&W500 didnt hurt near as bad at the Grendel....
I know not what this "overkill" means.

Honing the knives, Cleaning the longguns, Stocking up ammo.

I dont mind my 340 M&P for what it is intended for. It is not a range gun to plink all day. You shoot for a group to see where it hits and drop it in your pocket.

CLARKSTON_CZ: Nice CZ in your picture posted on page 1. What model CZ is that??

I think the .357 would break your wrist, haha....or maybe after time give you pains. The round is to powerful on such a smal, light package. Hell on the heavy Ruger SP101 shooting a .357 mag is still very high in recoil..

I would love to try one out. I carry an LCR and the .38 + P in such a small frame takes a good deal of practice to become proficiant.
    But thats half the fun.

9mm is quite a bit hotter than .38 +P in most loadings.

I am not recoil sensitive, but I would only want to fire such a pistol once, just to know how bad it is. Follow up shots would be way too slow for use in the real world.

LCR .327 probably not, the 45,000 psi chamber pressure is too much.

a +P round would feel almost like a 115/125grain .357round. What is the big deal?

Not in any wheelguns I've shot. Even a lot of today's watered-downed 125 loads have a much more brisk recoil than any .38 +P I've shot.

I vote for a medium frame, 6 shot .357 in the LCR pattern with a 3" barrel.

Gun store salesman talking to a woman to reassure her about recoil: "If it comes down to it, the last thing that you are going to be worrying about is recoil." Me: The trouble with recoil is that it keeps me from shooting my guns that are not bigger heavier fun guns, the ones that I am not counting on with which to defend myself or anyone else.

    No worse than a 340PD...

And let's be realistic, folks will be shooting and CCW'ing it with 38+P. Even Clint Smith says his 2 inch 357 CCWs with 38+P...

No ways that I would like to shoot the LCR in .357 mag.
