    My first Colt 1911 A1 Commander

    Well sorry for not having any pictures yet, but I just wanted to tell ya that today I went into my local pawn shop that a buddy of mine owns and low and behold was a Colt Commander in his display. This thing has been shot very little. The barrel and feed ramp had almost no wear on it. Its parkerized with some nice aftermarket grips. I couldnt just leave without telling him I would take it.

    I have to leave for some training for a few weeks, and when I get back I will post some pics and a range report. I am already looking into dressing it up with all the bells and whistles......

    nice gun hard to beat a colt when it comes to an 1911.
