Try going to some of the sites like gunbroker.com and see what they are going for.

Put it back in the box, and walk in to your nearest gun show. Take the first offer IMO. Seriously......expect $100 less than what you paid for it for the first time offer. If you really want to get near what you paid for it, then list it in your local newspaper classifieds for a fee. That, or list it for sale here on the forum or other forums you're allowed to with no fee. Otherwise, you'll be paying a fee to sell.
i'm in MI too. you can sell to a private individual if they either have a concealed weapons permit, or the purchase permit from the police dept. you can down load the paperwork online (it's four cards you sign.)
it's kind of a hassle in MI, unfortunately. you can sell it to a local gunshop for a little less, shop around for the best offer. all you need for that is the registration. that's what i do. you get less money but it's hassle free, don't have to look for a buyer.

Michigan is a bad market too, with unemployment, etc. Expect prices to be depressed. That pistol, in like new condition, would bring $475 here in Texas.

actually guns are selling here like hotcakes at the moment (obama panic buying i guess).
i'm friends with several local gunshop owners, and their sales are at least 5 times what they were this time last year.
seems like guns are about the only thing that's selling well in MI.
he can get $475 for that here too--from a private individual, a gunshop would offer no more than $375.

Just curious, why are you wanting to sell?
Same question I have: Why sell it? Is it to fund another gun purchase?
But yeah, in Tennessee, you could expect to get around $450-$500 in a private sell for LNIB condition from a private sell, or around $350-400 from a dealer for the same condition.

I'm just not a big fan of it and yes I would like to get a new gun. My dislikes are the size of it, I would rather have a gun that I could conceal. I am only 5'4 so that is not an easy task. If I can't get a decent price for it, I will just keep it. I am interested in a G-36.

So I loaded up and went to the range an took my ******* XDM and friends to the range. I started out with my fan favorite G26, always a crowd pleaser. Shot my friends classic .357 and even gave some time to my little guy Kel-Tec .32. Then it happened I pulled out the XDM what was sure to be the last time at the range with me.Set the target out about 25 feet, and the target was already well chewed up, so lets aim for the 7. Press the trigger, pow. Shot hit its mark and another and another. Like the Grinch's heart in the story, my heart grew three sizes that day on lane 16. After another 99 rounds I felt ashamed how I could have such discontement for my new closest friend. It it is a little big for my style but I really don't have that much style.
So to wrap it up it's a keeper, sorry to waste your time with my OP.
In other news I think I found a new family member. I rented the Glock 33 (Pocket Rocket), .357 sig subcompact. It is the 26 frame just a .357, first shot hold on wow my hands were stinging. But being the satomasticist that I am I finished the box of 50. I honestly walked away a little intimidated, then on the way home I thought I have to have it. Got home and called the store and they do not have any in stock, so I will have to wait to bring it home. I am pretty psyched because being the same frame as the 26 it will fit my current holster.
