In the colder weather I often carry my S&W Model 64 snub (2") in either my parka pocket, or a Don Hume IWB holster. It is a little bulky for summer carry when I'm only wearing shortd and a tee shirt.

Interesting, how do you like the moon clips? I've heard the ones for rimmed rounds are not as effective as the rimless models.
They do not like Blazer ammo, it won't fit in, but everything else I've put in them works great. I don't know why anyone would dislike them. They certainly "aren't for everyone", but I like them fine.
TK Custom did the work, and sold me the clips:

They did a good job, and got my cylinder back to me quickly.
That plus a new set of springs and a polished inner workings, and I have a very nice shooting K. I buffed out parts of the pistol, leaving only the parts seen while sighting and the flutes matte. I then added a nice set of wood boot grips.

I carry a 4 inch S&W 66 in a Cathey shoulder holster. Comfortable, reliable, all I need.

Thanks for the information. I have a friend who had a Redhawk .44 cut for moonclips and he mentioned that the steel used on the clips for rimmed cartridges was thinner and more flexy. Just wondering if that was universally true or more a .44 issue.
Very nice looking piece you have there. I think a 3in round butt 65 is my ideal carry gun, and you see them online for decent prices. Just need to get around to selling a few things to fund that.
