Anyone own /carry a STI single stack pistol?

In my search for a custom / semi custom Officers model size 1911
I am looking at the STI Escort or Shadow...Any feed back would be appreciatted.

I carry an STI Rogue regularly. It's smaller than you are considering but it runs great.

Thanks...Appreciate the feedback and I believe I saw your review on the Rogue on the website you recommended. Nice pistol also.

I have been on other forums and found reviews that state the STI pistols run excellent and being a competition builder the quality is supurb and reliability is 100%. The Escort and the Shadow have been my choices in 45acp because of the LW spec#'s on the pistols in a 3" barrel.
