Welcome Home, "Wilson"!
OK, so I'm strange...I name my handguns. My wife and I decided to name the newest addition, Wilson.
I just bought a Browning Hi-Power "Wilson Combat". It's in mint, nearly unfired, condition and brings with it the following features added by Wilson Combat when they put this edition out back in the late 1990s:
- Armor Tuff finish
- Tritium sights
- Tightened frame and slide fit
- Custom beavertail
- New springs
- Ambidextrous safety
- Dehorned for carry
- 4 pound trigger job
- Feed ramp polished
- Beveled mag well
- Stippled front and back strap
This will be no "safe queen", but will be shot just like it was meant to be! I'll shoot it in some IDPA matches and begin to work it into my carry routine. It may soon ascend to being my EDC--time will tell.
In terms of a holster, nuthin' but the best for Wilson--I ordered a TT Gunleather reinforced mouth IWB for both IDPA and carry.

Wilson Combat is about an hours drive from where we live. Interesting to see some of Arkansas getting spread around the country. That sure is a pretty piece, and I can't say that if I had it, it wouldn't be a safe queen. More than likely one of very few. I say congratulations on your new pistol! I think it's awesome! You should be proud of it! Thanks for the pic!

Like any performance machine, it was built to "drive" and drive it I will!
I've heard that your part of the state is beautiful...hopefully we'll travel that way sometime.

My sister lives in Minnesota. And my three beautiful nieces as well. Shorewood to be exact.
If you come down this way, send me a PM okay? You've got a connection in the Natural State now.

Very nice! I didn't know Wilson had done any HPs. Looks like they should do some more.

Enjoy.
I just sold mine. It sat in the safe too much. It just had to go, and it went to a very good home.
