Besides from the obvious "test fire an M&P and see for yourself", I'd go with the M&P. Why? Because I like variety.I'd rather have 100 different guns that I like instead of 100 of the same gun that i LOVE.

    That's just me though.

I carry a M&P as a CCW and love it. I have never had a single hiccup with it...test fire one and you will buy it.

I've owned a M&P9c and a Glock G26 at the same time and sold the M&P
    but still have the Glock.
Go for the G27 and use the same holster you have now.

Go with the Glock. (I have the 27 and love it.) You're used to it, already have accessories for it, I bet. Get what you love and are used to. Don't fix it if it ain't broken.

I just went .40 shopping and tried the G27, G23, M&P, Ruger, CZ, Sig, Taurus, Springfield XD-40 Sub Compact and several others and ended up buying the XD-40 SC. It fit my hands, needs, and versatility with the extended mag. It is very similar to the M&P. Hard to go wrong with the Glock, M&P, or XD. Comes down to personal preference. Handle them all and fire them at a range if you can and find which one you like best.

With the G27 you can purchase a .357 sig conversion barrell and have yet another pistol.

Personally I would go with the Glock. My 27 is one of my favorite handguns that I have ever owned.

Well......hmm, that's a tough one. I think a G27 would go along well with your G26 actually. Stick with what works for you. If you get something else, then you'll be thinking about changing your forum user name. Why create confusion when you don't have to?

LOL! Got my laugh of the day. Well....maybe for someone less impressionable than I. Apparently the OP only has one Glock as of now, so there's a remote possibility of temptation there.
