I've been eying these ever since they came out. The pictures here make it look teeny, but looking at the measurements, it's just too close in size to my USPc to let me justify one :( If I hadn't made a trade on the USP a while back, I believe I'd have the RAMI in that slot of my collection.

I've never handled one but I certainly like the looks of it. But I agree it seems a bit chunkier than my Glock for CCW.
On duty: Glock 21 SF (.45) w/ Safariland Cobra Tactical holster & Remington Hallow-points
CCW: Glock 19 Gen 3 (9mm) w/ Crossbreed Supertuck IWB holster

The RAMI is a great pistol. I bought a RAMI with the original safety in 2005, and a new RAMI DB this year (both 9mm).

I've decided to give my RAMi a break for a while.

This is bigger and a bit heavier, but I'll have to live with it.

A RAMI P (polymer frame) with decocker will probably be added to the collection when CZUB decides to offer us one.

Right now, the police and army contracts for the P0-7 Duty and the production of Dutys in .40 have slowed things up a bit.

Also , the new P-02 will probably put any RAMI developments on the
    back-burner for now.

Really too bad, as I think people would really like the safer decocker model
over the regular DA/SA RAMI P this Summer.

A great handgun except for the trigger. I sent mine to Ghost and it improved the SA but the reach and trigger weight in DA was still poor.

At least I can say that my H&Ks do not have the worst out of box trigger.

Thanks all! I did love the SA trigger pull. For the gentleman whose daughter 'stole' his :-)....does she have large hands? I'm 5'10" with long fingers and I could barely reach the DA trigger.
My daughter is a willowy 5'10" and does, in fact, have long fingers so she has had no problems with the RAMI. I have very large hands so the RAMI presented me with no problems at all.

I have two CZ's... the RAMI and the PCR-75 and love them both. Never had failures or any other problems.

i was just curious, have any of you guys tried +p or +p+ law enforcement 9mm in your cz's? if so, how was reliability?

i've been a CZ shooter for almost 20 years and haven't tried that.

    thanx

Don't shoot the hyper velocity stuff in your RAMI.

Speer +P is okay in most guns. Hotter stuff like Cor-Bon
or my beloved Double Tap give my gun fits.

I'd love to run this new DT stuff in my RAMI.

I, too, had a RAMI last year. I had it for about a month and it ran just fine. Don't know why I sold it, but I still think it's one of the coolest looking, sexiest guns ever.

    HOWEVER....

No one has mentioned the infamous "magazine rattle". I'm not sure whether only the RAMI does this or all CZ's do, but I found out about it AFTER I bought the thing. Any more than 7 rounds in the mag and the rounds in the mag rattle and make a lot of noise. Loading them a certain way didn't help. Whacking the bottom of the mag to "set" them didn't help. I think I tried everything possible people mentioned on the CZ forums.

Anyway, I could not see carrying a really concealable gun that made a very noticeable rattle with each step I took. What's the point of concealing at that point when everybody within 6 feet of you can hear it?

Too bad. I REALLY think it's a sexy gun.

I too have noticed the long DA trigger pull on my CZ-75B. I find the safety impossible to reach for "cocked and locked" carry.

I love it as a range gun but have never used it as a carry gun (but then I'm not a fan of 9mm for carry).

I had no problems with mine. Forget the DA pull, I carried mine cocked and locked.

Someone mentioned carrying the gun "half cocked". Is that safe in a CZ? I know it is not something that is safe on a 1911 or BHP, the half cock notch isn't all that strong and won't survive a blow.
