    early B-day present for myself..

Hello peeps! I decided to get my early bday present for myself today(my bday is not until next month) since i had to give up my 3" in order to afford my benelli MR1, I just love how the sp101 shoots and the fact that its a very accurate and reliable..I had to say that the 1/2 inch difference is very noticable when i was trying it today, i was not expecting much of a diffence but man was i wrong! I can really feel that i am shooting a 357 mag. here it is my SP101 in 357 w/ ct grips..

Nice. I looked at that same weapon, but due to funds, I ended up with a .38

I have two SP101's and I love 'em. They are not my normal carry guns but for whatever reason I have a two incher strapped on my belt as I type.

    Congrats on your new present........

I had that exact same setup, but sold it a few months ago. Just never carried it - mostly carried my Glock 26 instead. Used the funds to buy a Ruger LCP, for those times when the Glock is too much. At least it's still another Ruger!

Enjoy yours - they are great revolvers!

Its twin sits in a cubby just above my computer mouse..

I have Trausch stocks on mine and no matter what I feed it the recoil is tame, even for a few novices that have shot it.

Congrats.. Great gun now and will be just as great for generations to come..

I had a SP101, DAO.......what an idiot I was for getting rid of that one! My wife has a S&W 642 that I like well enough but the SP101 was just more of a "man's" gun......great little hunk of metal!
